Dempsey & Baxter was honored to participate for the second year in the 21st annual GE Transportation’s Bids for Kids fundraiser. A 0.56ct round diamond solitaire pendant was donated for the event’s annual Diamond Decadence event, where 76 attendees purchased glasses of champagne for the opportunity to win the necklace.
The winner, Ben Mintz, was announced during the event’s live auction.
Jessica and Ashley attended on Dempsey & Baxter’s behalf, showcasing several pieces of jewelry that are available for purchase. Jessica donned 3/4ctw white gold diamond starburst drop earrings, a diamond necklace, and diamond bracelet. Ashley wore diamond slice earrings set in white gold and a diamond slice band ring.
The 2016 GE Bids for Kids Erie event was attended by 440 people, and raised $285,469 for local children’s charities – Make-A-Wish, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Shiners Children’s Hospital.
